About the Course:

Tim will bring a refresher course for appraisers to remind them what red flags to look for when observing a subject property. Tim hopes to help new REALTORS and new appraisers to know what they should be looking for when they view a property to list or for appraising.

Adam will be sharing insights regarding high-end homes, over-improvements, shouses/barndominium/shomes.
He will share ways to deal with homeowners, underwriters, and appraisal professionals. He will help you identify homes and styles that are potential problems and how to tackle the appraisal process.

This class is approved for 3.5-hours of CE through the South Dakota Appraisal Certification Program.
South Dakota real estate CE has been applied for.

About the Instructor:

Tim O'Hara has been a South Dakota credentialed appraiser since 2012 and holds a South Dakota Certified Residential License. He is a Certified Master Inspector, has had his own home inspection business since 1991, and holds a SD Real Estate Commission License. He has a degree in construction technology with studies in structural engineering and architectural design.

Adam Lalim owns his own appraisal company, Northeast Area Appraisals, in Watertown, SD. He has been a credentialed real estate appraiser since 2006 and holds a South Dakota Certified Residential license. He has the Appraisal Institute SRA and AI-RRS designations. He has served on the PAASD Board as vice president and president.
