About the Course:

This course provides important information for individuals that have become State-Registered Appraisers and appraisers who want to provide direct supervision to State-Registered Appraisers. The goal of this course is to improve the level of knowledge and training of State-Registered Appraisers and their Supervisory Appraisers.

This course satisfies the requirement for appraiser training to receive a Supervisory Appraiser endorsement in the State of South Dakota. The completion of the course and passing the course examination satisfies the requirements for a four-hour training course for Supervisory Appraisers, as specified in ARSD 20:14:04:14(4), and for State-Registered Appraisers as specified in ARSD 20:14:04:12:02(2)

About the Instructor:

Craig Steinley, MAI, SRA, AI-GRS, AI-RRS, is a SD Certified General Appraiser, a contracted USPAP compliance examiner with the SD Department of Labor and Regulation, and an AQB-Certified USPAP Instructor.

Cost is $125 for PAASD and SD Chapter of ASFMRA members and PRE-Licensed* individuals. $225 for South Dakota credentialed non-members.

12:00 PM to 4:00 PM MOUNTAIN TIME - (1:00 PM TO 5:00 PM CENTRAL TIME)
Early log in available at 11:30 AM (12:30 PM Central Time) and roll call will begin at 12:00 PM (1:00 PM Central time)

Class materials will be sent electronically - you can print it to follow along and make notes or view it digitally. There will be an exam that must be taken within two week of the class. It will be a proctored exam and can be taken in Sioux Falls, Pierre, or Rapid City.

**Virtual Offering Instructions:

Registered attendees will receive an invite with the Zoom meeting login credentials 1 day before class and then again 30 minutes before class begins.

THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD VIA VIRTUAL INTERACTIVE CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY. STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A COMPUTER, WEBCAM AND MICROPHONE. IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE REQUIRED EQUIPMENT TO PARTICIPATE AND RECEIVE COURSE CREDIT OR CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT.

Participants must:

· have a computer with a webcam and microphone and must be seen at all times

· have internet access
