About the Course:

The core purpose of this seminar is to educate appraisers about the legal risks they face by using real world professional liability situations and lawsuits.

Peter Christensen’s presentation of this seminar is sponsored by the Appraisal Institute’s endorsed E&O
program managed by LIA Administrators & Insurance Services. Appraisers who complete this course and
who are insured by LIA become eligible for a discount on their E&O premium applied to their next renewal.
In South Dakota and Wyoming, the E&O discount is $70 if the per claim limit of your policy is $500,000 or
above, or $40 if the claim limit is lower. Please check with LIA if you have questions about your applicable
E&O discount. Appraisers who join LIA’s E&O program also will receive the discount.

Peter Christensen is an attorney and owner of Christensen Law Firm in Bozeman, Montana. His law practice is focused on matters concerning valuation services.
